We are seeking a driven and experienced Operations Manager to join our team and take charge of building a strong operational foundation for our business. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our daily operations. You will play a pivotal role in establishing structure, streamlining workflows, and creating scalable processes that support efficiency and growth. From inventory management to staff training and compliance, your leadership will ensure we maintain the highest standards in quality, service, and teamwork.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys challenges, has a passion for problem-solving, and is motivated to bring order and strategy to an evolving business environment. You’ll collaborate closely with the leadership team to translate goals into actionable plans, ensuring the smooth operation of our stores and production facilities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the food and beverage or hospitality industry.

  • Proven ability to build and implement operational structures and processes in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on efficiency, time management, and attention to detail.

  • Experience managing teams, with a track record of mentoring staff and improving team performance.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, capable of handling challenges with resourcefulness and calm under pressure.

  • Proficiency in using operational tools, including POS systems, inventory management software, and project management platforms.

  • Familiarity with softwares like Google Sheets and Excel

  • Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost control, and analyzing profit and loss reports.

  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Portuguese is highly preferred to communicate effectively with team members and local vendors.

  • A customer-first mindset with the ability to balance operational efficiency and exceptional service delivery.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively between teams and leadership.

  • A passion for sustainability, innovation, and contributing to a plant-based food revolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all operational workflows, including inventory management, production, and staff scheduling.

  • Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and introduce improvements to streamline operations and reduce waste.

  • Oversee supply chain logistics, including vendor relationships, purchasing, and stock control, to ensure cost-effectiveness and product availability.

  • Supervise day-to-day operations across stores and production facilities, ensuring adherence to quality and hygiene standards.

  • Train, mentor, and manage team members to align them with company goals and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and identify opportunities for growth.

  • Handle compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring all locations meet the highest standards.Assist in implementing technology and tools to support operational efficiency, including POS systems, inventory software, and team communication platforms.Regularly report operational performance to the leadership team, providing data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
